Since 1969 Laurence has made a living writing and publishing his Poetry. "I write because I must. It is something I can never get very far away from. Each poem is a gift, a moment suspended in time, a feeling captured on a piece of paper, a thought with which the heart and mind and soul can share."Laurence reflects upon himself as one of God's secretaries taking down dictation, or some explorer discovering the obvious, the things that everyone else already knew, but that he didn't.
