During the cold Maine winter months sister and brother team Debra & Matthew travel to far eastern lands such as Nepal, Thailand, India, Bali, & many other locations around the world. Debra & Matthew meet with families in the various countries and choose gifts to send home to Eden Rising.

Accompanied this year by Gail Gutradt & Laurence Craig-Green, the traveling team started out in New Delhi India in search of new spiritual books. They attended the Kumbha Mela in Allahabad, a festival that occurs every twelve years and which saw over 45 million people converge in 2001. It is believed that all sins are purified with a bathe in the sacred waters of the Ganges. They then traveled on to Kathmandu to find masks, lanterns, jewelry, hand knit sweaters (new designs this year!) allowing ample time for a bit of trekking. The final destination was the beautiful island of Bali for fantastic carvings, wonderful and colorful clothes, drums, kites, jewelry and much more.
